Russian Lily Designs surprise stole. Orenburg

It's a surprise. Pattern sampler stole.

Till the end you are not going to know how this stole will look like. Have some yarn ready...
1500m maybe/// get some extra, we may get a taste of it and make it bugger :)
Lace weight yarns/ alpaca, fine wool, something that blocks very well.

We start with casing on 105 stitches. That's how wide it will be.

m highlighted gray represents the ole in the knitted fabric - yarn over. To compensate the width the k2tog follows after the yarn over.

What about all the even rows? They are not charted...
In this Orenburg pattern based on millet they do not need to be. All Even rows are knit.
Oh, one Russian thing - do not forget to slip the first stitch f every row purlwise. always.

for the simplicity we are not going to add any teeth to this. But if you want to add them. Add simple warm shawl teeth.

  4. the min size is 575 rows.
it can be made bigger depending on the wish of the knitter by the increments of
96 rows. how long one wants to make a stole.... some like it long, some shorter... it's all about the personal preferences. I'm timing the new stuff to the weekends, it seems to work better. and if someone is staying on a slow side, people will even out when some will start doing more repeats. there is no pressure on finish on the day XYZ :). everyone takes their own way how to make this
